Send An E-Tearsheet
Several of the participating newspapers are already using the website to provide electronic tearsheets to their advertisers. It’s easy to quickly send an e-tearsheet to an advertiser or ad agency with the push of a button.
- Search your scanned pages for an advertisement using keyword(s) or search dates. (The keyword function does not search for logos). Scroll down to search RESULTS and once you’ve found the page you want to send, double-click on your newspaper name (in blue).
- Once the page is downloaded and viewable on your screen, you can send this entire page as an e-mail attachment.
- Along the top of your computer screen, in the Adobe Acrobat toolbar, you’ll see a “globe with envelope” icon (upper lefthand corner). Click on this icon and your e-mail form will appear. (If you don’t see the “globe” icon, on the toolbar across very top of your screen, click on “File,” then click on “Email” and proceed to step 4.
- Type in the recipient’s e-mail address. The subject field will show the PDF file number, which you can type over with your own subject line. The PDF page is automatically attached to the email. Click “SEND” and the process is complete.
